It is with great honor that I am able to serve the Hage Elementary School Community as Principal. I look forward to collaborating with the parents, students, and staff in every possible opportunity to support the "Hage Way". Learning is a lifelong passion and it is a goal of mine to provide opportunities for students to realize that passion their respective life. At Hage, we truly C.A.R.E. My professional career started in 2003. I spent the first 10 years of my career in the middle school level, primarily as a teacher /coordinator of AVID, English, and History. The past 3 years, I served as Vice Principal of Standley Middle School in University City. My previous studies include: BA in Liberal Studies from SDSU, clear teaching credential in general subjects with History and English authorizations from SDSU, MA in Learning and Teaching from USD, and an Administrative credential.
Born and raised in the beautiful city of San Diego, I grew up in Mira Mesa and graduated from Mira Mesa High School. My love of San Diego spreads to my affinity for sports, as I am a HUGE Chargers and Padres fan. I come from a large family and now I have a family of my own. My beautiful wife and I are proud parents of 2 lovely daughters and 1 amazing son. You might catch us around town going to the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Safari Park, or a Padre game. If you do see me out and about "please don't be shy, say hi!"
